- We make a bit over 100k a year. We pay 27% in income taxes alone. We pay $8 grand, (around 6-7%) in property taxes for a 100 year old house on 5 acres in a rural area. We pay 8% in sales taxes.

- I got the chicken pox at 16...it was awful, painful and had the potential for complications. Had I gotten it pre-8 yrs old or so it would not have been a big deal. Many people don't trust new vaccines, (or old ones for that matter).

- Also, can anyone tell me where it said he had the children alone? Most principles have a secretary right next to their office. If the door is open then the child is not alone with the principle. Also, it is common practice to send elementary students to the office in pairs.

- If certain segments of the population choose to use internet differently than others it is none of my business. These same segments of the population have equal access to libraries where there are standard computers and printers. If a job application is needed, there is a place to get one.

- Gina, you are naive. My father was a state trooper for 31 years. He repeatedly took the lieutenant's exam, and each time was passed over for a black man who had a lower test score. Of course affirmative action causes white men to be passed up over minorities, that is the point.
